With a commitment of around 80 billion euros, the European Union offers universities access to extensive funding opportunities for research and innovation activities during the years 2014-2020.

The funding program Horizon 2020 aims to strengthen European competitiveness by innovations that bridge the gap between research and market.

Horizon 2020 is strongly results-oriented with special regard to current socio-economic and business-oriented challenges. This calls for a detailed description of measurable results of the overall project (minimum requirement: three consortium partners of various countries of origin) and a market-based commercialization strategy. The assessment of these IP-based criteria mainly takes place in the area of "Impact". The lack of impact criteria is to a large extent responsible for 86% of all applications not being subsidized.

PROvendis has the required core competencies for meeting the specific requirements - particularly in the area of "Impact".

We would be happy to assume the following relevant work packages on behalf of your university or institution:

  • Prior art search
  • Disclosure of the existing IP in the consortium
  • Freedom to operate analysis
  • Identification of the innovation potential
  • Measurable definition of exploitable results
  • Market analysis
  • Development of commercialization/dissemination strategies
  • Legal review and workshops
  • Negotiating consortium agreements
  • Licensing negotiations
  • IP and innovation management
  • And more on request

We offer our services for the application as well as during the project, regardless of the role of your university in the consortium and the level of maturity to date.

Please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to prepare you an offer without any obligation on your part.
