Through the transfer of knowledge and technology scientific results find applications in our economy and society. This relies on suitable partners in industry and business who transfer research results and inventions into new products or innovations.
The transfer of technology can be fostered through licensing, sale, option agreements, material transfer agreements or by starting a business. We provide potential transfer partners and assume responsibility for the respective contractual arrangements and negotiations. In this process the individual aims of the university, which are often defined in the university’s commercialization strategy, have priority for the measures developed by PROvendis.
Cooperation projects in collaboration with other universities, research institutions and companies also play an important role. Appropriate agreements such as cooperation agreements, research and development contracts and confidentiality agreements control, inter alia, the knowledge transfer. We provide advice in designing the contents of the contract and are happy to take over the contract negotiations in close consultation with the university and the scientists involved.
We also assist in the drafting of research proposals such as in the preparation of position papers on the state-of-the-art in science and technology in the WIPANO funding programme as well as the associated IP-based work packages in the Horizont 2020 funding programme.
